A shallow magnitude 3.9 earthquake was reported early morning near Sibenik, Town of Šibenik, Sibenik-Knin County, Croatia.According to the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), the quake hit on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, at 1:23 am local time at a shallow depth of 10. km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
