It does not execute trades. The score is not a prediction. It is a prioritization tool that helps you decide what to look at first. What the score represents The 0–100 score is a weighted blend of multiple components (depending on the selected profile), such as: - Trend / Macro alignment - EMA spread context - RSI context - short-term change (Chg%) - relative volume (RelVol) - signal freshness (bars since event) Why profiles exist Different traders prioritize different properties. Profiles allow you to adjust the weighting without changing the rest of your workflow. Balanced - General-purpose prioritization. - Useful when you want a stable “first pass” ranking. Trend - Emphasizes trend/macro alignment more heavily. - Useful for trend-following workflows where structure matters more than one-bar momentum. Momentum - Emphasizes change and volume components more heavily. - Useful for activity-driven scanning (with appropriate volatility and risk controls). Using the score transparently (Score Breakdown Tooltip) If enabled, hovering the Score cell shows component points and the total. This prevents “black box” ranking because you can see why a row is ranking high. If a symbol ranks high due to a single factor (e.g., Chg%), you can decide whether that matches your plan. Filters: turning a dashboard into a disciplined scanner Core filters (state engine) - EMA crossover: event trigger - RSI gate: momentum confirmation - Trend gate: structural confirmation - MACD confirmation: optional selectivity Advanced filters (table-level gating) - Fresh signals only (limits candidates to a recent window) - Macro align only (requires macro consistency) - Min RelVol (filters for activity) - Min BUY / SELL Score (hard quality gate) A clean “scanner mode” preset (example) Goal: reduce the table to a manageable number of high-quality rows. - View Filter: BUY and SELL - Fresh signals only: ON - Max Bars Ago (Fresh): 8 (tune per scan timeframe) - Macro align only: ON (optional) - Min RelVol: 1.2–1.5 (optional) - Enable Setup Scoring: ON - Profile: Trend (or Balanced) - Min Score: 65–75 (optional) - Sort By: Score (Desc) Limitations / transparency Scores depend on your parameters and timeframe, and will differ across instruments.
