And I’m f—ing grateful that you’ve chosen to spend your evening with us tonight. Thank you very much.”Nine Inch Nails have been on the Peel It Back Tour since June 15, when they started in Dublin. He recalled being in Tulsa, Oklahoma, during Nine Inch Nails’ early touring days. Although, they were playing a much smaller venue than the BOK Center.“I think one of the first times we played here, I think maybe it was Cain’s Ballroom, like 80 years ago,” he began, per a report from Consequence. “I think we were opening for Peter Murphy… and we were playing ‘Head Like a Hole’, and I could see someone in the back screaming the f—in’ lyrics back at me.”He continued, “And I thought, ‘This is all I ever wanted in life, is to connect with somebody like that dude in the back.’ Anyway, that’s what I think of when I roll into Tulsa.”While the band’s touring future is unknown, Reznor previously admitted that they’re excited to work on new music. Speaking with Consequence in December 2025, he said new stuff is definitely in the works.“We are working on new stuff and we’re excited to work on it,” he said. “And we are prioritizing working on Nine Inch Nails over just taking on every single thing that comes up in the other category.”Photo by Didier Messens/RedfernsThe post Trent Reznor Comments on Nine Inch Nails’ Touring Future During Recent Oklahoma Gig appeared first on VICE.
