Capcom announced another piece of DLC for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, and it will make the games sound like Mega Man Battle Network titles. The BGM add-on will debut on April 23, 2026. This is a means of celebrating the April 2023 launch of the other collection on modern platforms. You will need a copy of the newest release on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or PC to claim the pack. Capcom shared two screenshots from the free Battle Network BGM DLC coming to Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, as well as explained how to use it. You need to head to the BGM Selection section in Settings’ Sound area to enable them. If you do, then during battle those will play instead of the default battle themes from the three Star Force games. However, for that to work you do need to go into the game’s music section and set tracks as “favorites” for them to be pulled for use.The first screenshots also confirmed five of the songs that we’ll hear. All of them are tracks from the original Mega Man Battle Network game. These are “Boundless Network,” “Net Battle,” “Operation,” “VS Life Virus,”and “Winner (BN1 Version).” It is unknown if this add-on will cover all six games and how many tracks will be pulled from each one. Here are those official images from Capcom:There’s another DLC pack available for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, though it is paid.
