A 17-year-old girl from Mġarr was taken to Mater Dei Hospital after being trapped under a collapsed ceiling near Ġnejna Bay on Sunday evening.The incident happened at around 6:20pm inside one of the rooms located close to the bay, when part of the structure gave way and fell onto the teenager.Members of the Civil Protection Department were called to the scene and assisted in the rescue operation.The girl was later transported to hospital for treatment, although the extent of her injuries is not yet known.Authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the collapse.Photo: one.com.mt•
