Fights have been breaking out on consecutive Sundays at Golden Bay, with one young person suffering grievous injuries in the latest incident, according to the Malta Ranger Unit.Rangers said they found the injured youth in a car park covered in blood after a fight, prompting them to call both the Malta Police Force and an ambulance.Police quickly arrived on site, with several vehicles responding. While some of those involved fled, one person was reportedly apprehended.The area is monitored due to its location within Il-Majjistral Nature and History Park, a protected site known for its sand dune habitats.Rangers said large groups of youngsters have been gathering at the beach in recent weeks, with some causing disturbances, including fights, littering and damage to the dunes.They have submitted a detailed report to police, including evidence to help identify those involved, and are calling for increased police presence at Golden Bay, particularly on Sundays.Is this getting out of control?Photo: Malta Rangers Unit•
