Just days after Inside the Magic’s most recent report on the transformation of a doorway to a window inside the Island Tower Disney Vacation Club (DVC) building, even more construction projects are underway at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Here’s how the ongoing work could impact your next stay at the Deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotel.Construction in the Great Ceremonial HouseCredit: DisneyAccording to WDWNT, crews are currently refurbishing the exterior of the Great Ceremonial House, home to the lobby, check-in area, ‘Ohana, Kona Cafe, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, Capt. Cook’s, the Monorail station, and several merchandise locations. Several of the vertical beams on the outside of the building have been repainted, while others appear faded, with scaffolding confirming that work continues in the area.Walt Disney World Resort restricts work to the daytime hours when most guests are at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney Springs.
