Transco pipeline network.The NESE project will increase the Transco system’s daily capacity by 400,000 dekatherms, enough to meet the energy needs of approximately 2.3 million homes across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.Williams confirmed that it has obtained all necessary federal and state permits to begin work and is aiming for the project to enter service in the fourth quarter of 2027.Williams president and CEO Chad Zamarin said: “Energy security is national security, and energy affordability drives American prosperity.
