A coastal clean-up operation titled “SOLO 5” has taken place across Majjistral Nature Park, Fomm ir-Riħ and Crystal Lagoon in Comino, organised in collaboration with Visit Malta.During the initiative, Gorg from Coast Is Clear Foundation removed a record 500 plastic bottles, along with ropes, fishing lines, 12 large jerrycans, and other waste from the sea and coastline. He also towed a large shipping buoy to safer waters.The effort formed part of a demanding day of environmental work focused on marine conservation and waste removal from Malta’s coastal areas.
