For the third time in less than a year, the Teddi Barra audio-animatronic is missing from the Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom Park. The reimagined Frontierland show, which debuted in July 2024, continues operating on its normal schedule.Missing Audio-Animatronic at the Country Bear Musical JamboreeCredit: DisneyIn the original Country Bear Jamboree, Teddi Barra descended from the ceiling on a swing and sang “Heart, We Did All That We Could.” Since the 2024 retheme, the audio-animatronic bear, now voiced by Grammy winner Allison Russell, swings above the audience singing a country version of “A Whole New World” from Aladdin (1992).On Tuesday, though, WDWNT reported that Teddi Barra failed to appear during performances of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Walt Disney World Resort. During “A Whole New World,” her hatch on the ceiling remained closed. Teddi Barra’s disembodied voice sang as the Wendell and Gomer audio-animatronics performed on stage. The outlet shared this photo of the characters, sans Teddi Barra, during “A Whole New World” on Facebook:Similarly, Teddi Barra did not descend from the ceiling during the finale, a country version of “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book (1967).Walt Disney World Resort has not commented publicly on the reason the audio-animatronic is missing or when she will return.
