Galaxy Connect now supports continuity for non-Samsung Windows 11 PCs

Samsung's Galaxy Connect app for Windows 11 offers continuity features, such as copy/pasting between your mobile device and PC, storage share, second screen, and more. The app only worked if you had a Galaxy Book PC from Samsung. That's no longer the case. Samsung has opened up the Galaxy Connect app to PCs from other manufacturers as well. You can now enjoy these features without having to buy a Galaxy Book. No need to buy a Galaxy Book to use all of these featuresThe app brings a wide range of very useful features. For example, if you're using the Samsung Internet Browser on both mobile and PC, you can pick up webpages on the PC where you left off on the mobile device. Copy/paste between devices works very well and as does the ability to access the files on your mobile device from the file explorer on your PC. Multi-control is another great feature which lets you control a nearby Galaxy mobile device with the mouse and keyboard hooked up to your PC. Lastly, the second screen feature allows you to use the display of your Galaxy tablet as a second screen for your PC.Galaxy Connect was launched to offer Samsung device owners the same seamless continuity features that Apple users enjoy. The company limited this functionality to its own devices. Taking advantage of Galaxy Connect meant you'd need both a Galaxy smartphone or tablet and a Galaxy Book.That's no longer the case. Galaxy Connect version 2.1.6.0 adds support for non-Samsung PCs as well. Your PC can be from any other vendor but it must be running Windows 11. Additionally, only Intel and AMD-based x64 PCs are supported. If you're using an ARM-based PC, Galaxy Connect won't work.
