If you’re looking for something a little different this month, this upcoming concert in Mdina might be worth adding to your list.The Malta Police Force Band is set to present FRANCESCO – Shepherd of Mercy, a musical oratorio inspired by the life, message and legacy of Pope Francis, combining music, narration and vocals into one compelling experience.Taking place on Friday 24th April at 7:30pm at St Paul’s Metropolitan Cathedral in Mdina, the performance promises an evening that blends culture, reflection and music in a unique setting.The production features a libretto by H.E. Frank Zammit, Malta’s Ambassador to the Holy See, alongside original music by Mro Anthony Cassar, Musical Director of the Malta Police Force Band.Joining the performance will be Soprano Claire Caruana, Tenor Charles Vincenti and the ATTAR Choir, performing together with the Malta Police Force Band to bring the oratorio to life.Beyond the music itself, the event also supports a meaningful cause.
