No one taught me how to budget specifically , but when I was sent to college (yes I know this is privileged!) My dad gave me a monthly amount that was about half and I worked for the rest. There was no calling him if I blew a tire or anything else. He didn't want to hear from me about anything like that. Figure it out. You learn how to budget, or you get evicted!
