He was a prominent figure in the city’s cultural landscape and was widely regarded for his contribution to Urdu and Dakhani theatre. His mortal remains were laid to rest at a graveyard in Shantinagar on Saturday, April 18, in the presence of family members, colleagues, and admirers from the theatre fraternity. Adrak ke Panje, a satirical play written and performed by Khan, enjoyed an extraordinary run spanning over three decades, from 1965 to 2001.
