A Mexican national with an immigration detainer hold allegedly murdered a man in a North Carolina nightclub. A second person was also greatly injured and ended up in the hospital with serious injuries.Giovanny Hernandez-Jaramillo allegedly shot 33-year-old Jorge Alber Dorantes-Carranz while injuring another person. He then fled the area.Although the shooting death happened on March 22nd, Hernandez-Jaramillo was not caught until April 3rd in Houston, Texas.Raleigh police charged him this past Thursday with assault with a deadly weapon with the intention to kill and with murder.He had his first court appearance on Friday and is being held without bond. Court records revealed that he is a Mexican citizen and is being held on an immigration detainer.Authorities also arrested Martha Renee Jones. She was considered an accessory after the fact. Jones helped facilitate Hernandez-Jaramillo’s escape from the area. She posted bond and has an electronic monitoring device.CBS 17 Reported:RALEIGH, N.C.
