An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 occurred only 9 minutes ago 106 km southeast of Fayzabad, Afghanistan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.The quake hit at an intermediate depth of 125. km beneath the epicenter near Fayzabad, Fayzabad District, Badakhshan, Afghanistan, early morning on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at 6:54 am local time.
