POTD: Curious Eyes on the Glock 45 COA Hunter Edition

Wait 5 sec.

Today's Photo of the Day spotlights the Glock 45 Hunter Edition, pictured in its A-CUT configuration, fitted with the factory-installed Aimpoint COA. Built on the trusted Glock 45 platform, this variant pairs a compact slide with a full-size frame, setting itself apart through a distinctive finish and tailored specification. The COA optic is mounted directly onto the slide using Glock’s A-CUT interface, eliminating the need for adapter plates and resulting in a lower sight height and increased stability. The universal IWB holster in the top image is from Rounded Gear, and I’m having it for evaluation. For the price, it’s doing quite well and you can check it out here. This Hunter Edition is configured with a threaded barrel and extended magazines with an olive-drab finish (not shown here). To my knowledge, the Hunter Edition is not available in the U.S., but you can find it on Glock’s EU website: https://eu.glock.com/en/Products/Pistols/G45-MOS-Hunter-EditionNow I just need to get my H-231 color-matched B&T Impuls-XM suppressor, 3D printed in Titanium, and probably restart the process as the Gen 6 is released. All images by the author.
