I’m 68 and have never been on prescription drugs other than a few rounds of antibiotics over the years. I eat well, monitor my weight and trust my gut. I’m also a pretty cautious person. Freaks me out all the drugs my friends are on and how OLD they are. They see something on TV, tell doc about it and poof! They’re on it. Blows my mind. The fact is, we have-for profit healthcare. People have to consume massive amounts of medical care and subsidies for the rich to be richin. Plus, dependent people are easier to control. The system is working exactly as it was designed to work.
