Union Minister for Coal G. Kishan Reddy said he was prepared to debate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed delimitation formula, asserting that it ensures an “equal increase in parliamentary seats for all States in proportional terms, despite higher population growth in northern India”.Addressing a press conference in New Delhi on Friday, Mr. Reddy said the Prime Minister had devised a formula rooted in fairness and aligned with public aspirations.
