Jawaharlal Nehru University has introduced a five per cent supernumerary quota for children of its teaching and non-teaching staff. This new provision will apply to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses starting from the upcoming academic session. The university will create additional seats to accommodate this quota, ensuring the existing seat matrix remains unaffected.
