A manhunt is underway in Staten Island, New York, after a woman was shot in the neck outside a Target. The police believe that her 20-year-old boyfriend, who is currently on the run, was the culprit of the crime. The woman works at the Target at 2873 Richmond Ave, near the Staten Island Mall in New Springville. She was headed for her shift at 7:35 a.m. on April 17 when she was unexpectedly ambushed by an armed man at the front of the Target and subsequently shot in the neck. At that point, the attention shifted to finding who shot the woman on her way to work. Witnesses shared that they saw the victim’s 20-year-old boyfriend shoot her and then flee the scene on a motorcycle, heading eastbound on Yukon Avenue towards Forest Hill Road. The store is closed for the remainder of the day as we focus on supporting our team during this difficult time.
