Samsung's portable projector is back with new features and improved performance. It is now called the Freestyle+, and it has the ability to adjust to any surface through automatic keystone correction, autofocus, and color correction based on the surface. It can project images that are brighter, and Samsung is quoting a brightness of 430 ISO lumens, making it twice as bright as the previous model. Its AI OptiScreen feature automatically adjusts the picture projection to suit any surface. The 3D Auto Keystone feature automatically aligns the picture based on the angle of the surface. With Real-time Focus, it continuously focuses the projection so that the picture stays sharp even when there is any change in the placement or rotation of the projector.A new feature called Screen Fit automatically adjusts the size and shape of the picture to fit the screen area. It works with a compatible screen accessory. The Wall Calibration feature adjusts the colors of the projection based on the color and pattern of the surface. Samsung is also bringing the massively improved version of Bixby, powered by large language models (LLMs), to The Freestyle+. Combined with integrations with most video streaming services, Bixby can answer information about the content, actors, and places in the video. It can also suggest you content based on your preferences. The AI-powered chatbot can answer your questions and remember the context of the ongoing conversation.It runs the newest version of the Tizen operating system with One UI interface and Daily+ and Daily Board features. Samsung TV Plus brings lots of free content wherever you go.Samsung also listened to our complaint and brought Samsung Gaming Hub to its portable projectors. It offers high-end gaming through popular cloud-based game streaming services like Amazon Luna, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Utomik.The Freestyle+ has a built-in 360-degree speaker that offers room-filling sound. It can also be wirelessly paired with Samsung's soundbars and wireless sound devices through Q-Symphony. Its other features include Ambient Mode, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Samsung Health, Smart View, SmartThings, SolarCell Remote, Tap View, and Wi-Fi.Samsung will showcase its newest portable projector at its booth at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, USA, from January 6 to 9.
