Residential property registrations in nine Indian cities saw a 5% drop to 5.45 lakh units by December 25 this year. However, the total value of these registrations increased by 11% to Rs 4.46 crore. This growth was driven by a rise in wealthy Indians and a preference for premium and luxury housing.
