At least you had to be 16 and pass a test to do those things, though. Kids on ebikes not knowing the rules of the road and being reckless and unsafe has become a big problem in my area. A few kids have been hit and one was even killed because they have these vehicles that go too fast and no concept of road safety because they're children.
