According to the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL), over 85 per cent of the corridor—approximately 465 km—is being constructed on elevated viaducts, with 326 km already completed. Civil work on bridges is also progressing rapidly, with 17 of 25 river bridges already built. The Surat–Bilimora section, spanning 47 km, is among the most advanced stretches, with civil works and track-bed preparation fully completed.
