Lowest temperature of 5.6°C was recorded in Tiryani of Kumaram Bheem Asifabad between Monday and Tuesday morningThe cold wave is set to persist across Telangana on the last day of 2025, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a cold wave alert for 10 districts for Wednesday (December 31, 2025).According to IMDs latest bulletin, cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts.Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see partly cloudy sky. “Fog or misty conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during night hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 28°C and 14°C respectively,” as per the bulletin.Lowest of 5.6°CMeanwhile, according to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), between December 29 and 30, a total of 10 districts recorded temperatures below 10°C. Tiryani in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad recorded the lowest of 5.6°C.This was followed by 7.3°C in Bheempoor (Adilabad), 7.7°C in Moinabad (Rangareddy), 8.5°C in Mominpet (Vikarabad), 9°C in Zahirabad (Sangareddy), Pembi (Nirmal) and Gandhari (Kamareddy), 9.4°C in Markook (Siddipet), 9.7°C in Narsapur (Medak) and 9.9°C in Ramagiri (Peddapalli).The remaining 23 districts recorded temperatures ranging between 10°C and 14°C.
