The Telangana government has accorded permission for the grant of annual surrender of earned leave under the Earned Leave Encashment Scheme to regular employees of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, who are drawing salaries on AIIMS (Central) pay scales.According a Government Order (GO), issued by Health Secretary Christina Z. Chongthu on Monday (December 29), the decision allows NIMS employees to avail earned leave encashment on par with Telangana State government employees, in accordance with the Telangana Leave Rules, 1933 and related government instructions issued from time to time.Published - December 29, 2025 06:56 pm IST
