senior-level direction for Barclays’ investment banking activities in Japan.His remit includes advising on major transactions, supporting cross-border deals, expanding the client base and strengthening relationships with existing clients.Minoura has acted as a senior advisor to Barclays’ investment banking business in Japan since July 2024, where he has been involved in strategic planning and client engagement.He brings more than four decades of experience in financial services to the role.Prior to joining Barclays, Minoura held senior advisory and chair positions at Bank of America Securities Japan, where his responsibilities centred on client coverage and business development.Earlier in his career, he spent 37 years at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking, serving in several senior
