Dining at Disney World will get a little more complicated next year.Credit: DisneyRelated: Disney Confirms Hulu Shutdown, Streaming To Be Terminated in DaysThere are a number of ways guests can customize or “expand” their Disney vacation, ranging from small add-ons like PhotoPass and Lightning Lane to larger, more substantial upgrades such as Disney’s various VIP packages and, of course, dining plans.Walt Disney World Resort has offered travelers select dining plans for decades, ensuring travelers get their fill of the best entrees, snacks, drinks, and desserts the parks have to offer. There are several ways guests can make use of their plan, depending on which they choose, though things are changing in a big way next year.Specifically, the Disney Dining Plan will be changing for four restaurants in particular.Starting with Terralina Crafted Italian at Disney Springs, the Italian restaurant will only accept the dining plan for lunch beginning in 2026.Next up is The Edison, another Disney Springs eatery. The 1920s-themed sit-down restaurant will only honor the Disney Dining Plan for dinner next year.It’s a similar story for Via Napoli, a pizza and Italian restaurant located in EPCOT’s World Showcase. The eatery will also be moving to a dinner-only dining plan option.Tutto Italia Ristorante is another Italian restaurant found in EPCOT. One of these is the Quick-Service Dining Plan, and the other is the Disney Dining Plan. The latter includes one table service meal, one quick-service meal, a refillable resort mug, and a snack and a dessert.The quick-service plan includes the same offerings aside from the sit-down meal.This isn’t everything that’s changing with Walt Disney World’s dining plans, as a new free plan is being offered for children ages 3 to 9 with the purchase of a Walt Disney Travel Company package.A lot more is in store for Walt Disney World Resort, with three of the four theme parks set to undergo extensive changes. By far the biggest and most controversial of these changes can be found at Magic Kingdom’s Rivers of America, or what’s left of it.The man-made waterways ran dry earlier this year to make way for the park’s big expansion, Piston Peak, a Cars-themed hub.Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios will also be getting their own new lands, each featuring new rides, attractions, and locations to explore.Stay tuned here at Inside the Magic for all Walt Disney World news and updates.
