Man Utd 'had a lack of creation', says Amorim after Wolves drawShareManchester United were held by bottom side Wolves in the Premier League, much to the frustration of Ruben Amorim and Lisandro Martinez.Ruben Amorim rued Manchester United's lack of "creation" and "imagination" following their draw against bottom side Wolves. The Red Devils had to settle for a point against the Premier League's basement club, who claimed only their third of a disappointing season.Joshua Zirkzee's deflected strike broke the deadlock at Old Trafford, but the hosts were pegged back just before half-time by Ladislav Krejci's well-taken header.Patrick Dorgu saw a last-minute goal ruled out for offside, but United registered a disappointing xG of 0.81 from 15 shots, compared to their opponents' 1.02 xG from 11 attempts."We struggled throughout all the game," Amorim said. "We had a lack of creation, but we already knew it would be a different game to Newcastle [United]. We had a different energy during the game."Looking at the 90 minutes, we had our chances, but the fluidity offensively wasn't there. There is a lack of connections at the moment."We needed more imagination to create chances. We struggled in the first half trying to steal the ball. They put a lot of men in the midfield. We tried, but the quality was not there."United have now drawn five of their last seven Premier League games when they have scored first (W2), and have won just 52% of games under Amorim when going 1-0 up.Lisandro Martinez echoed Amorim's thoughts, conceding United "expect better" of themselves in games of this magnitude."Really disappointed," he added. "We can't come here and draw this game. We have to win when we play at home. The opponent has to suffer, and we didn't get the three points."[It's] very frustrating. The team gave everything. Just for a few moments, we conceded in the last moment of the first half; that can happen. We deserve that; it's our responsibility."We played well with the ball in the first half, but then we dropped too much. They were comfortable with the ball, and they started moving around and creating spaces. The lads are very disappointed; we expect better."Man Utd 'had a lack of creation', says Amorim after Wolves drawManchester United were held by bottom side Wolves in the Premier League, much to the frustration of Ruben Amorim and Lisandro Martinez.Ruben Amorim rued Manchester United's lack of "creation" and "imagination" following their draw against bottom side Wolves.
