Earlier this week, IDF forces thwarted an overnight attempt to smuggle weapons into Israel along the country’s western border after the Air Control Array detected a drone crossing into Israeli territory.According to the IDF, forces from the Paran Brigade intercepted the drone, which was found carrying 20 M16 rifles, along with additional weapons components including barrels and stocks. The seized weapons were transferred to security forces for further processing.In recent days, the IDF has also intercepted two additional drones in the same general area, reflecting what the military describes as increasingly sophisticated smuggling methods.
