Security personnel at Mengo Palace, the venue for the Nkuuka end-of-year festival, reportedly restricted access for some musicians wearing red, a color widely associated with the National Unity Platform (NUP).According to journalist Gabriel Buule of the Daily Monitor, who was present at the event, Roden Y Kabako was completely barred from accessing the stage and was not allowed to perform. Kabako is known for his support of NUP and its leader, Robert Kyagulanyi (also known as Bobi Wine).Meanwhile, Pallaso was only granted entry after lengthy negotiations with the security personnel.
