Nannies are people who work at the kids’ homes. Babysitters are people who watch kids at the babysitter’s house on a regular basis. Babysitters are also people who watch the kids on a Saturday night (but they are much different than Nannie’s). Babysitters are sometimes needed when daycare centers are closed or unavailable. If a babysitter who chooses to do full-time care wants $25/hour, then it’s going require some rich parents. If a babysitter is watching kids while the mom goes to work her minimum wage job, then I don’t know if the math works out.
