I built LeaveNote, a small web tool that lets you create a QR code so strangers can contact you — without exposing your phone number, email, or social accounts. Typical use cases: - Stick it on your door when you’re away - Put it on your car for parking issues - Lost & found for pets or items - Delivery or neighbor messages How it works: You create a message page (no app required) Print the QR code Strangers scan and leave a message Messages are forwarded instantly (Telegram, Bark, etc.) Messages are not stored Why I built it: I didn’t want to put my phone number on my door or car anymore. Existing solutions either require apps, accounts, or leak personal info. It’s free to use and works entirely in the browser. Website: https://leavenote.me Would love feedback on: - Real-world use cases I missed - Privacy expectations - Whether this solves a real problem for you Thanks! submitted by /u/Flimsy-Discussion822 [link] [comments]
