I would never expect a renter to do this unless they have been there really long term. This is a condo/ HOA thing and isn’t real. This building management company should be ashamed. Giving people money around the holidays is not a mandated thing. It’s something you do when yoh really like the person. My doorman busts his ass and is the most likable person I can think of so I give him a Christmas present that happens to be cash. It’s not expected though.
