The tragic incident occurred on her birthday, which coincides with the New Year, and the family was preparing for the celebrations, said Kamboj.According to initial reports, Munmun reportedly faced breathing difficulties and lost consciousness inside the locked bathroom as the gas quickly accumulated inside following the leak.“When she did not come out for a long time, family members knocked on the door but received no response. Fearing something was wrong, they broke open the door and found her unconscious. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Preliminary medical opinion suggests that she died due to suffocation caused by gas inhalation,” said an officer.The police launched an investigation and sent the body for post-mortem examination to confirm the exact cause of death.
