The latest to be crushed by the spy actioner is director Sameer Vidwans’ Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri (TMMTMTTM), which has failed the crucial first Monday test, earning on day five just 1/6th of what Dhurandhar made on the same day.TMMTMTTM recorded an India nett collection of just Rs 1.75 crore on Monday, according to early data from industry tracker Sacnilk, marking a 65 per cent dip in its daily earnings compared to Sunday, when it minted Rs 5 crore. With this, the romantic comedy’s total domestic earnings stand at Rs 25.25 crore. On the same day, which marked its 25th in cinema halls, Dhurandhar earned Rs 10.75 crore, over six times what TMMTMTTM registered on day five. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, TMMTMTTM’s daily collection has been steadily declining since day two, after opening at Rs 7.75 crore.Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 25 Update: Ranveer Singh film surpasses Pathaan, earns Rs 1081 cr; highest grossing Hindi film in IndiaMeanwhile, Dharma Productions, which co-produced the movie with Namah Pictures, announced on Monday, December 29, that the romantic comedy’s global gross has climbed to Rs 40.20 crore. Nonetheless, its current performance is extremely disappointing when compared to its lavish budget. The movie’s poor run is a significant setback for actor Kartik Aaryan, whose last outing, the blockbuster horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (2024), had grossed a whopping Rs 400.35 crore worldwide. On its first Monday, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had earned Rs 18 crore domestically. The film was a Diwlai release and clashed with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.During the day, TMMTMTTM registered an overall occupancy of just 12.14 per cent in the Hindi market. While the morning shows commenced at a dismal 6.23 per cent, the rate kept fluctuating as the day unfolded and improved only nominally, with 14.33 per cent in the afternoon, 14.07 per cent in the evening, and 13.91 per cent during night screenings. Also starring Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff in key roles, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’s songs are composed by Vishal–Shekhar.Click here to follow Screen Digital on YouTube and stay updated with the latest from the world of cinema.© IE Online Media Services Pvt Ltd
