Samsung’s next lineup of non-foldable flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S26 series, is expected to offer three devices: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. While the current and previous models in the Galaxy S lineup brought significant hardware upgrades over their predecessors, the next ones may not, especially the regular and the Plus models. Well, it looks like. Samsung may try to make up for that with powerful software features.According to Maeil Kyungjae, the Galaxy S26+ will feature ‘3x zoom HDR.’ According to the publication, this feature will enable the phone to capture images with distant objects more clearly (than the Galaxy S25+). At the moment, there’s no information if Samsung will extend the feature to the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Considering that the latter will be costlier, it may get the 3x zoom HDR feature, but since the former is cheaper, it may not.Despite featuring largely the same hardware, the Galaxy S26 series was rumoured to come with a higher price tag. However, earlier today, we learned that it may not be the case, which could be a huge relief for prospective buyers. That being said, people will be disappointed to see that the phones don't come with significant hardware upgrades, especially in the camera department. It will be interesting to see how it will affect the sales of these devices. The post Galaxy S26 may offer better zoom shots appeared first on SamMobile.
