He asked officers to finish every project on time and with quality, warning that any negligence will lead to strict action.Focus on Flood Control and Drain WorkSaini directed officials to widen the Hisar–Ghaggar Drain so that floodwater can move out of low-lying areas quickly.He also told the team to plan an alternate discharge route to reduce the load on Ottu Lake.The Chief Minister asked the Irrigation Department to line the drain with concrete in nearby villages to prevent soil erosion and blockages.He told officers to clear waterlogging immediately so farmers can start sowing without delay. He also ordered them to identify low-lying areas and make a long-term plan to avoid future flooding.Quick Action on Crop Damage and CompensationTalking about crop loss due to heavy rains, Saini asked for speedy verification of damaged fields.He told officers to check all data personally that farmers uploaded on the compensation portal, so that only genuine farmers get aid.“Every farmer will get fair compensation, but reports must be correct and transparent,” he said.Paddy Procurement Must Cover Every FarmerWhile reviewing paddy procurement, the Chief Minister said that no farmer should be left out.He instructed officials to complete verification of all farmers registered on the portal without delay.Review of the Chilli Lake ProjectSaini reviewed progress on the Chilli Lake Project and asked the Deputy Commissioner to send regular updates.He told officials to check the quality of every part of the work and take strict action against anyone responsible for poor construction.To settle land issues, he said all land for the project should be purchased through the e-Bhoomi portal. If any landowner wants to sell a full 4-kanal plot, it must also go through e-Bhoomi.Drinking Water, Roads, and Sewerage ProjectsThe Chief Minister checked progress on waterworks under HUDA in Fatehabad sectors and told the team to finish it soon to ensure a steady supply of clean drinking water.He reviewed road and sewerage works and said the PWD will act as the main agency for these projects.Saini told officers to repair all district roads before winter and speed up the widening of 40 roads. He also reminded them to lay sewerage and water lines first to avoid re-digging after road construction.Strict Monitoring of Development ProjectsSaini said there will be no compromise on quality.He instructed the Deputy Commissioner to review projects every month.
