A media report claimed that the couple had signed divorce papers between July and August, with Mahhi reportedly demanding an alimony of Rs 5 crore. However, Mahhi has now addressed the ongoing speculation in a new video on her YouTube channel, breaking her silence on the matter. While she neither confirmed nor denied the reports of their separation, she strongly refuted claims about demanding alimony.In her vlog, Mahhi said: “Please don’t believe any news until I say it myself. Respect our privacy and our children’s privacy.”She went on to challenge the authenticity of the reports: “Those saying I have signed papers — please show me proof. Show me the documents before making such claims.”Mahhi also spoke about how such rumours affect their children. “Nowadays, every child has a phone. These kinds of news stories impact them. In the same vlog, Mahhi also shared her views on alimony, expressing her long-standing belief in financial independence.“Forget my case, but I don’t understand the concept of alimony. I have always believed that whoever earns the money should keep it. Women, too, should always be financially independent.”This isn’t the first time Mahhi has spoken candidly about her personal life. In a previous appearance on The Male Feminist podcast, she addressed public curiosity surrounding her marriage.“Even if it is the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fee?” she said with her trademark candour. “Why do people make such a big deal out of someone’s divorce or separation?
