normalnormalnormalChandigarh,  Chandigarh’s disciplined all round display put them in command at stumps on Day one of the fifth Balramji Dass Tandon Memorial U-16 Multi-Day Cricket Tournament against Himachal Pradesh at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium. After posting 199 in the first innings, the home side reduced Himachal Pradesh to 103/7 by the end of the day’s play, gaining a crucial 96-run first-innings lead.Earlier, Chandigarh’s innings was anchored by a 55-run knock from Ishant Rawat. Batting at No. 8, Ishant struck nine boundaries during his 101-ball stay, steering the team from a precarious 83/6 to a competitive total. He received valuable support from Gursharan Singh (40) and skipper Vedansh Kalkhanday (33). Himachal’s Bhavishya Bhardwaj  (6/37) starred with the ball.In reply, Himachal’s top order collapsed dramatically against the bowling attack led by Ruhaan Sharma (3/14). He was supported by Alif (2/35) and Shubham Dhiman (2/25).
