Gambhir asked the women’s team to enjoy the occasion and play fearlessly.“On behalf of the entire support staff and the Indian team, I want to wish the women’s team all the very best. Enjoy the occasion, be fearless. Don’t be scared of making a mistake. You’ve already made the entire country proud,” said Gambhir on the eve of the final. India T20I men’s team captain Suryakumar Yadav also wished the women’s team his best and said, “Wishing the women’s team all the very best for the World Cup final. Just enjoy the occasion. Be yourself. You don’t get to play a lot of World Cup finals. You don’t need to do anything different. You’re playing really well. Back yourself, enjoy the moment. Give your best and everything else will take care of itself,” Jasprit BumrahBoth Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav were part of the video message as well with Kuldeep saying that the team had shown a lot of maturity, especially in the win over Australia.“Be yourself. Keep doing what you have been doing till now. Wish you all the best,” said Axar Patel. Kuldeep Yadav, who was with him, added, “ You’ve shown a lot of maturity, especially in the semi-final.
