Crystal Palace co-owner Steve Parish says he’s ‘relaxed’ about Oliver Glasner’s future at the club. The Eagles boss has been linked with a potential exit following his roaring success at Selhurst Park. Glasner won the FA Cup in May, Palace’s first-ever major trophy, to secure their maiden European campaign. They have since added the Community Shield to their trophy cabinet with a win over Liverpool in the season’s curtain-raiser.Meanwhile, Palace were on a club-record unbeaten run of 19 matches before last weekend’s late defeat to Everton. As a result, Glasner has attracted interest from elsewhere in the Premier League.Manchester United are amongst his admirers, talkSPORT understands, with the Austrian on a shortlist of candidates if the club sack Ruben Amorim. However, Parish told talkSPORT he’s not yet concerned about losing his manager to a another club. The Palace chairman explained on Sunday Edition: “I’ve always been fairly relaxed about it. These things are obvious issues that happen in football clubs.“I think that you are discussing, debating, learning, listening, putting your foot down all at various different times.“I think Oliver’s a brilliant guy. I think he’s a sensational manager and his opinion is extremely important to the football club.“What he thinks is something that we take very seriously. Will we look back on things and adapt what we do? Absolutely in the future.”Parish says early talks have taken place over a new contract for the Palace bossGettyGlasner had been vocal in his criticism of the club’s transfer business in the summer ahead of the new campaign.Palace spent just short of £50million by the end of the window, making four permanent signings.FA Cup final goalscorer Eberechi Eze did depart, though, joining Arsenal for £60million.Meanwhile, Glasner’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season. He penned a two-year contract as he succeeded Roy Hodgson in the dugout back in February 2024.Parish has confirmed that discussions have taken place over an extension.Glasner has admirers at United after guiding Palace to FA Cup glory earlier this yearGettyWhen asked about Glasner’s contract situation, he revealed: “Yeah, we’ve had some early conversations.“I mean we would love to keep Oliver, we’re building something. I think for Oliver it’s about the conditions being right.“It’s about everything being in a way that he enjoys his work and he finds the conditions favourable to achieve.“Oliver wants to win things. He makes no secret of that. That’s what he’s in football for. He’s in football for those days where we give all that pleasure to the fans and we do as well.“So if we can align those interests then hopefully we can make something happen.”Despite their loss to the Toffees, Palace remain sixth in the Premier League and just four points behind leaders Arsenal.Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace recordMatches: 73Wins: 36Draws: 21Losses: 16Trophies: FA Cup, Community ShieldThey also made a winning start to their Conference League campaign by beating Dynamo Kyiv earlier this month.Glasner will hope to return to form following the international break when they host Bournemouth on Saturday.
