Kattabomman’s valor and sacrifices will continue to inspire generations to come, the Raj Bhavan said.Mr. Stalin, along with his cabinet colleagues, paid floral tributes to the portait of Veerapandiya Kattabomman at Gandhi Mandapam in Chennai.In a post on X, Mr. Stalin hailed Veerapandiya Kattabomman as a brave warrior who refused to bow to foreign domination and fought without fear. Even years before the Sepoy Mutiny, Kattabomman spread the spirit of the freedom struggle, fought unwaveringly, and sacrificed his life.
