The Petra Organisation has received a significant boost for its Republic Bank U-18 School Football League with the support of  Ronoca Concrete Inc.The Construction materials supplier has officially cemented its commitment to the grassroots programme, becoming a key partner for the upcoming 2025 edition of the tournament.The sponsorship was formalised on Tuesday during a handover ceremony at the company’s Plantation Diamond location, with Ronoca representative Padma Seegobin facilitating the contribution.The deal underscores Ronoca’s commitment to infrastructure and fostering young athletic talent within the community.The sixth edition of the League is scheduled to kick off this Sunday, October 19th, at the Ministry of Education Ground on Carifesta Avenue.Proceedings begin at 10:00h with a March Past ceremony.This year’s competition will feature an elite field of eight top schools from across Guyana, with the ultimate prize being a chance at international representation.The top two finishers in the tournament will earn the right to represent Guyana at the prestigious KFC Goodwill International School Football Series in December.The participating schools are a dynamic mix of regional champions and Georgetown powerhouses:Abram Zuil Secondary (Region Two), Three Miles Secondary (Region Seven), Presidents’ College (Region Four), South Ruimveldt Secondary (Georgetown), West Ruimveldt Secondary (Georgetown), Dolphin Secondary (Georgetown), Charlestown Secondary (Georgetown), Chase Academic Foundation (Georgetown).The post Ronoca Concrete joins supporting cast for Republic Bank U-18 School Football League appeared first on News Room Guyana.
