A woman on TikTok has seen her only source of income cut off without explanation two days after she claimed she was sexually harassed by a customer while working for DoorDash. “Irlmonsterhighdoll” AKA Livie appears visibly upset in her video as she can barely contain her own frustration with the situation. “Hey guys I just lost my job, and they won’t tell me why,” she states in the video which is fast going viral on TikTok. @irlmonsterhighdoll Update: I submitted my appeal but I didn’t even know what to explain in it because idk what the cause of deactivation I’m defending myself against is. They said they will respond within 7-10 business days. I contacted a third support agent who gave me a way to log into my doordash debit card account so I have access to those funds for now thankfully. It sucks cuz aside from everything I didn’t mind doordashing. It was a decent experience. ‍ ♬ original sound – irlmonsterhighdoll DoorDash deactivated her courier account two days after she made a video talking about the sexual harassment which she claims she experienced at the hands of a customer. What happened? DoorDash driver have to deal with a lot. Livie explains in another video that while she was delivering food, she received a request from a customer that the delivery be left outside their front door. According to Livie, When she arrived, the door was wide open and laying on the couch, very much within view of the door, was the customer, pretending to be asleep with their pants and underwear around their ankles. So far the company has outright refused to give Livie an explanation as to why her account was deactivated and when she phoned the support line to get an answer she was informed that they could not tell her why either.  Of course, Livie and her audience have joined the dots and it seems pretty obvious that it’s likely connected to her video talking about the harassment she endured. DoorDash was her only source of income Unfortunately for Livie, working for the food delivery service was her only source of income and to make matters worse, her money was still in the account before it got deactivated. Numerous attempts to get an explanation from DoorDash have also been fruitless with her exhausting all possible ways of finding out the reason for her account being deactivated. Of course, the people of TikTok are fighting for Livie. The comments on the official DoorDash TikTok account have been taken over by angry netizens demanding that the company give Livie some compensation. “TIME TO SPEAK UP DOORDASH,” wrote one person. Others accused the company of firing people “for being being SA’d.” Some came to say that they would be using UberEats instead. Maybe if DoorDash had provided Livie with an explanation and the ability to get her funds back, or better yet, not fired her in the first place, then this backlash wouldn’t have happened. As for Livie, some on TikTok have recommended she lawyer up and take her former employer to court. Of course, that might be hard right now considering she’s just lost her only source of income.
