Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown has tipped the club to sell one of Thomas Frank’s most-used forwards in January.Frank has had to deal with a sizable injury list at Tottenham at the start of this season, with Spurs being particularly badly affected up front.Injuries to Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani have meant that the Dane has had to trust Richarlison to lead the line in most games this season. The Brazilian did make a strong start to the season, but his form has tailed off over recent weeks, and some pundits have suggested that Spurs cannot afford to rely on Richarlison as their main striker over the course of their campaign.(Credit @thefrederikkejensen / Instagram)Tottenham will listen to offers for Richarlison in JanuaryOver the last week, it has emerged that Orlando City came close to signing Richarlison in the summer, and the MLS club remain interested in the Tottenham man.Mick Brown believes that the former Everton man is not likely to get much game time at Spurs if all their forwards are fit, and claimed that the Lilywhites will accept any decent offer that comes their way for the striker in the upcoming transfer window.Brown told Football Insider: “I think the time has come for Richarlison to move on. He’s never been a player who the club are completely prepared to put their faith in, they know what he can do at his best, but too often he won’t be at that level.“With Solanke out injured, he’s had a good start to the season, but they don’t see him as the long-term answer to their issues leading the line. So if a good offer comes in for him in January, then I expect Tottenham will be ready to let him go.“Given everybody’s fit, I’m not sure he would have a regular place in Thomas Frank’s team. Based on that, he’ll be interested in a move to the MLS as well, and I’m told there have already been talks about whether it could be done.“If Tottenham get the right offer and feel they can cope without him, I’m sure it’s something that could happen when the window opens with all parties interested.”Richarlison could be a wanted man in JanuaryRicharlison was heavily linked with a return to Brazil during the summer, and some of those clubs are expected to return for the 28-year-old in January. It has been suggested that Flamengo are ready to make a move for Richarlison, who is thought to be valued at €20m (£17m) by Spurs. However, some sources have suggested that Flamengo may have to battle Crystal Palace for Richarlison, with the Eagles thought to be a fan of the Tottenham man.READ MORE: Gary Mabbutt reveals whether he thinks Harry Kane will ever return to TottenhamThe post Tottenham tipped to sell key player who has already played 11 games this season appeared first on Spurs Web.
