Ben Whittaker has had his boxing return officially confirmed for November 29 in Brimingham.Whittaker recently secured his revenge over recent rival Liam Cameron in April this year to get his glittering career back on track.Whittaker is finally back in action after inking his deal with Eddie HearnGettyBut his contract with promoter Ben Shalom and BOXXER expired, which saw ‘The Surgeon’ look for alternative representation.He ultimately decided to sign with Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn, in one of the most high-profile moves of the year.And the outfit wanted to get Whittaker back into the squared circle before the end of the year.As promised, Whittaker’s next outing has now been announced, a showdown with German contender Benjamin Gavazi.Gavazi has a record of 19-1 in his professional career, and the pair will meet for the WBC silver light-heavyweight title.There will be sterner tests to come for Whittaker who is hoping to push through the gears in the coming years, to fulfil his promising ambitions.But is a good opposition to work away any cobwebs and put down a statement in the Midlands on home soil.On his plans for the coming months, Whittaker said: ““I’ve only had 10 fights but I’ve learned a lot and the good thing is I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in those 10 fights. “I think that little bit of experience I’ve got from those will take me far in my career.“In the amateurs, I did everything. World medals, European medals, Olympic medals, but nothing is like the pro game.
