Winter OPD timings revised for govt hospitals in Mohali district

According to Civil Surgeon Dr Sangeeta Jain, the new OPD hours across the district’s health facilities — the District Hospital, Mohali, Sub-Divisional Hospitals at Kharar and Derabassi, Community and Primary Health Centres, Ayushman Arogya Kendras/Aam Aadmi Clinics, ESI hospitals, and dispensaries — will be 9 am to 3 pm.To ensure smooth patient flow and prevent overcrowding, registration counters will open half an hour before the scheduled OPD time. “This arrangement will help patients get their registration done conveniently and receive timely medical examination and treatment,” said Dr Jain.She said that emergency services in all hospitals will continue to operate 24 hours as usual.Meanwhile, the Civil Surgeon Office in Mohali and other hospital administration offices will function from 9 am to 5 pm, with no change in their working hours.Dr Jain added that the change in timings is a routine biannual adjustment to align with seasonal conditions.
