No insurance claim made.”Jamaican international Michail is still recovering and driving a people carrier after admitting he was grateful to have “another chance at life”.Hammers ace Michail – who previously crashed his Lamborghini Huracan into a bin shed while dressed as a snowman at Christmas 2019 – said: “I’ve always been a fan of sports cars and old classics.“But sports cars are not my friends.“Now I have a people carrier and I’m staying far away from sports cars.”The Ferrari crash happened in Theydon Bois, Essex, UK, while he was on his way home from training.Michail said: “I don’t remember much. Everybody told me I was awake and speaking.“I remember it was windy, it was wet. I had only had the car for three weeks and was considering giving it back because the back kept swinging out. “All I know is that I hit a tree. I don’t know how.“Police said it looked like I was trying to climb out the window but, because my leg was so badly broken, it stopped me.”The star said he has hidden the crash from his youngest kids.He added: “The younger ones never really knew how bad the situation was.“I almost wasn’t there for them and that was the most difficult part. But it’s made me positive.”And he added: “I will 100 per cent be back on the pitch.
